Welkom by Krugersdorp

Well, we’re back. The boxes are unpacked and we are (mostly) settled into our new house in Gauteng. We have a beautiful house, with many spare rooms
and a lovely garden (that comes complete with a garden service).
When we were in PMB, we picked up two puppies who made the journey with us to Krugersdorp and now complete the picture of domestic bliss.
Bailey is the black Great Dane and Lucy the Jack Russell and they are just great.

The (other) Bishops came to spend Christmas in Krugersdorp, and it was super having them with us.David opening Matthew's Christmas presents...Matthew eating his Christmas presents...

A feast...

Tried to email you today and realised we didn't have your updated email address. Please email it to us: tooke@webmail.co.za

Wow - talk about a SERIOUS upgrade from where you lived before! I trust that your garden service is no longer of a four-legged kind, and that you now enjoy indoor plumbing.

But on a more serious note, I know that the two of you had to endure some hardships during your time at Atamelang, yet you served that community "as unto the Lord". May God bless you (and baby Bishop) richly as you settle into your new home and congregations.

With all that space, would you be able to put up about 10 ministers and another 5 lay delegates from our Circuit during Synod? This will save us from having to pass the hat for petrol. The only possible drawback is that most of us snore rather loudly, while there are one or two sleepwalkers. (Just kidding...I wouldn't do THAT to you!)

Please pray for me as I go through the screening and other bits as part of my candidature, before the final grilling at Synod.

Blessings,
Steven
